Watch Janet Jackson Get Nasty At 2018 Billboard Music Awards

"No, my first name ain't baby..."

At last night’s Billboard Music Awards Janet Jackson received this year’s Icon Award, and the singer reminded everyone watching why she is one of the legends of pop with a high-energy performance of some of her biggest hits like “Nasty,” “If,” and “Throb,” off of her 1993 Janet album.

Janet wasn’t the only one dancing for the crowd. Tyra Banks and Any Cohen were also showing off their moves—and love for Janet—in the audience during her mini-concert.

After her performance, Janet received the Icon Award where she delivered a powerful acceptance speech and spoke about the #MeToo movement: “It’s a moment when, at long last, women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated, or abused.”
