Javier Muñoz's big break came earlier this year when he took over the lead role from in the smash Broadway musical Hamilton from creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

But the out actor is taking political intrigue into the 21st century with his next performance, a spot on ABC's FBI drama, Quantico.

Muñoz will appear in Episode 10, scheduled for late November.

“He plays Gabriel Carrera, vice consul at a consulate in D.C.,” out showrunner Joshua Safran told TVLine.

“His husband, Robbie, played by Nick Westrate, also works at the consulate. They come into contact with some of our recruits, and soon wish they hadn’t.”

Safran joked that he "made sure to instruct everyone at the production meeting to not ask for tickets."

Well, you couldn't blame them for trying.
