Jay-Z on Obama’s Gay Marriage Stance: “right thing to do”

Jay-Z, a longtime supporter of Barack Obama, just indicated his support for the President’s stance on gay marriage in an interview with CNN. About the Obama statement, he said “it’s the right think to do.” And went on to compare discrimination against gays to discrimination against blacks.

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back,” said Jay-Z, referring to the fact that same-sex marriage is still not legal across the US. “What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

Further proof that Beyonce married well.
