Designer Jeff Lewis is known for his snarky one-liners and demanding personality around his staff on Flipping Out—but how is he with six-month old daughter, Monroe Christine Lewis?

That was a question host Andy Cohen asked on Watch What Happens Live! earlier this week when Lewis was a guest along with former Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel.
In a segment called “Oh, Baby, Baby” Cohen made Lewis open up about fatherhood and who is the better parent when it comes to their daughter, Lewis or his partner Gage Edward.
“It was probably over diaper sizes… we’ve had so many fights,” he answered when Cohen asked what the dads’ first fight was over after the baby was born.
Who’s the best at getting Monroe to stop crying and who is the bigger helicopter parent of the couple? You’ll have to watch the clip to find out, but Lewis does go into detail about whether he’s glad he decided to become a father in the first place.
“Yes, absolutely. If you had asked me a couple months ago maybe not, but we’re at the good stuff now,” the designer gushed. The couple have been together for more than seven years and welcomed their daughter via surrogate on October 25, 2016.
Now that they are dads, will the couple ever get married?
“I don’t know. I don’t know,” Lewis said in a WWHL after-show clip. “I mean it’s gonna happen eventually, right? It’ll happen. It’ll happen.”
