Jeremy Lin is just a regular old guy who couldn’t get a break on the basketball court. The 23-year-old Harvard grad had been dropped by two NBA teams (Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets) and was playing for the Erie BayHawks, a D-League team, just a few weeks ago. Now, he is one the most famous athletes playing basketball and the New York Knicks starting point-guard. Basically, Lin is Teen Wolf.
Much like TW aka Scott Howard, Lin had the brains but his basketball game wasn’t up to par. He was not one of the strongest players on a weak team struggling to win. Then, seemingly overnight, he became one of the league’s best players and the once cold Knicks went on a very hot winning streak. Just like TW helped the Beavers start winning again and crush the evil Dragons. Also they both like surfing atop moving vans while playing Beach Boys music. We think.
So, with this in mind, enjoy singer Mark Safan’s rerecording of the Teen Wolf hit, “Win In the End” above. Only now it is called “Lin In the End.” Safan must be PRETTY jazzed with this situation.
