Everyone fondly remembers the first time they were nominated for an Academy Award and they found out while sitting front row at the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show next to Cameron Diaz, right? Well Jessica Chastain finally got to join us privileged folk with her experience earlier today.

The actress was nominated for her role as the totally-white-trash-yet-adorably-sweet Celia Foote in The Help this morning and received a message from her agent while in Paris. “I got a message from my agent that said, ‘Congratulations on your Oscar nomination,’ but that’s all I know, and part of me is like, ‘What if there was a mistake?’ But I think I’m very happy. I’m very, very, very happy,” said Jessica.

One of the first to congratulate Miss Chastain? Diaz, who sadly has never received the same happy phone call.

Jessica released six movies last year including Oscar-nominated The Tree of Life, Take Shelter, The Debt and of course, The Help. Girl, stop being so damn lazy.
