Jinkx Monsoon Is Pregnant And About To Burst In "The Vaudevillians" Off-Broadway Reboot

Jinkx Monsoon is heading back to the off-Broadway stage for a reboot of her hilarious staged period comedy, The Vaudevillians, and this time she's pregnant!
The Vaudevillians: Bringing Up Baby has Jinkx reprising her role as Kitty Witless alongside her husband Dr. Dan, played by Jinkx's piano-playing sidekick Major Scales. In the show, Kitty finds herself pregnant but the pair aren't sure if the baby was conceived in present day or during the 1920s (they've been literally frozen in time by an avalanche for nearly 100 years).
Much like the first incarnation of The Vaudevillians, Bringing Up Baby will give you plenty pop music covers, inappropriate jokes and the kind of fearless comedic performances we saw from Jinkx on season 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
Though Jinkx and Scales have been performing the show for almost three years, she told Backstage that the script leaves room for improv.
"I can come up with the idea of a good joke but it’s not until I have an audience in front of me that I know how to deliver it," she said. "The fourth wall is there and isn’t there. We’re playing characters but they’re very interactive with the audience. It’s improv and it’s scripted and it’s clown work all at the same time."
