A collection of the late Joan Rivers' most prized possessions goes up for auction at Christie's today, the lot of which includes everything from used table linens to a celadon silk and passementerie upholstered dog house.

Vanity Fair reports:

At the auction’s press preview, tableaux of her furnishings and decorative objects were laid out exactly as they were in Rivers’s 11-room home. They lined white-walled galleries at Christie’s, which were also embellished with some of the legendary star’s wittiest lines (“I don’t exercise. If God wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor.”), along with her most practical (“When I play a town, I ask to see the art museum and antiques section. Over the years, you pick up a lot of great works—and ideas.”)

"She understood what she was she was putting together,” said Christie's Deputy Chairman Jonathan Rendell at the collection's introduction. “There’s a conversation that goes on very comfortably between the objects. And she collected serious stuff.”

Pieces of the collection range in price from $1,000-$300,000. The lot was jokingly refered to by Joan's daughter Melissa as an example of "rich people hoarding."

Earlier this month, Melissa donated an exuberant one-of-a-kind rainbow coat by Broadway costume designer William Ivey Long, which Joan wore at Las Vegas Pride in 2012.

The coat was auctioned by the Family Equality Council and raised $2,000 for charity.
