Joan Rivers Returns To The Tonight Show After 26-Year Ban: WATCH

Joan Rivers was a regular guest on the Tonight Show for years—she was even the show's regular guest host from 1983 to 1985—but she signed on to her own late-night talk show on Fox in 1986, Johnny Carson retaliated by banning her from the program. (Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien, Carson's first two successors kept her in exile, as well.)

Last night, Jimmy Fallon broke the ban when he invited Rivers to sit down on the Tonight Show couch. The iconic comic made a brief cameo on Fallon's first episode last month, but this marked her first proper appearance in 26 years.

With more than two decades of pent up energy, Rivers didn't hold back—firing off jokes about the Holocaust, Bruce Jenner and her own lady bits.
