Joe Jonas And DNCE Cover Selena Gomez's "Hands To Myself"

The crew kicks off Selena's Revival Tour next month.

Joe Jonas and his cover-happy band DNCE covered Selena Gomez's "Hands To Myself" in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge in London yesterday, and it's so so much better than the infamous "Work" cover we're still trying to get out of our head.

The band injects a bit of funk into the pop ballad, and Joe even steps out of his falsetto comfort zone for a bit to deliver some guttural yell-singing that really makes you take a step back and reassess your thoughts on the middle JoBro.

Joe and Selena are old friends — she dated his brother, Nick, years ago when the group were all still emerging Disney stars. They'll no doubt rekindle that friendship again when the band heads out on Selena's Revival Tour, which kicks off in Las Vegas next month.

We'd say Selena's finally 'made it,' having her tour openers cover her hit song and all, but she actually 'made it' back in 2012, when Willam's classic "Love You Like A Big Schlong" parody dropped to compliment her hit, "Love You Like A Love Song."

"(She) did a nasty version of it, which was hysterical, and I went to the Logo NewNowNext Awards and I got to meet her, which was amazing," Gomez said last year. "Honestly, I feel like that’s when I made it – genuinely! I emailed it to my mom and she emailed it and CC’d everybody."
