Joe Rogan Says He'll Help Roseanne Barr Start a Podcast

He also claimed what she said about Valerie Jarrett wasn't racist.

Comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan has said he will help Roseanne Barr start her own podcast.

The comic and disgraced former TV star was a guest on Rogan's podcast on Wednesday, for the second time, having also appeared on the show last year, where she bemoaned being kicked off her show Roseanne, apologized to those whose lives she made more difficult due to her actions, and sounded off on her various political views.

Rogan, whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is immensely popular, encouraged Barr to start her own show numerous times. When she complained that she wasn't sure how to get one started, Rogan dedicated himself to lending a hand.

"Roseanne, you need a goddamn podcast. Your podcast would be monster," Rogan told her.

"I know, Joe! I'm trying to get it, but people don't know what to tell me to do!" she shouted back.

"Well, I can help you," he responded.

"I told you, I need someone to tell me what to do," she answered.

"You're in the right place," he assured her.

"Goddamnit! Because I really need to tell people what's going on, and they don't even know," Barr added. "But I know, because I did the reading for them, and I mean, this is all just a social experiment to see how far they can push us, away from each other and away from any kind of possible power we could have to coalesce and say, 'What a minute, you guys are not going to take any more of our money for your fucking travels.'"

Later in the episode, Rogan told her she "definitely could and should" have her own show, and that he can connect her with people "who can make it a plug and play thing, where it's real easy."

"The problem is not what you're saying," Rogan assured her later, regarding the controversy she stays mired in. "The problem is people reacting to you, that's the problem. Fools."

Rogan also encouraged Barr to get back into performing stand up, which she said she might do, but she showed some hesitancy, revealing she has been told by studio heads that if she performs again and says anything offensive the reruns of Roseanne could get pulled from the air, costing her a substantial amount of money, which she says she now lives on.

Rogan also recently defended Barr on another episode of his podcast by saying what she tweeted about Valerie Jarrett wasn't racist, and arguing that she was primarily targeted for being a Trump supporter.

"What she tweeted was not racist," Rogan claimed. "That lady looks like the lady from the Planet of the Apes, and she did not know that that lady was African American. But she's a very small percentage African, she looks very white, which is exactly what she said."

"Do you see how that's racist, though?" comedian Bert Kreischer asked.

"Well, have you ever seen the images of her side-by-side? Dude, it's like saying you don't look like a gay bear. You know you look like a gay bear."
