John Lithgow Might Be A Gay Murderer In New Sitcom "Trial & Error"

"Sexuality is fluid, and sometimes my fluids go to men."

Larry Henderson, the lead character played by John Lithgow in NBC's Trial & Error, probably killed his wife. But as revealed in the NBC sitcom's new red-band trailer, he was definitely sleeping with his hunky personal trainer.

"That was a leg day," says the small-town poetry professor when photos surface of he and trainer Alfonso (Kevin Daniels) working out very closely in the gym. Responding to a photo of he and Alfonso passionately making out on one of the machines, he says, "That’s a bit harder to explain."

The show, a kooky cross between The Jinx and Parks and Recreation, co-stars The View alum Sherri Shepard as a legal assistant. She grills Larry about Alfonso to prepare him for trial: "The day Margaret died, did you f*ck him in the ass?" No objections here!

So can we officially add Larry to the growing list of TV's LGBT characters? "Sexuality is fluid," he explains in an upcoming episode, "and sometimes my fluids go to men."

Trial & Error premieres March 14 on NBC.
