Johnny Weir’s Heart Goes On In “Titanic”-Inspired “Lip Sync Battle” Number

"You're here, there's nothing I fear!"

This week on Lip Sync Battle Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski take the drama off the ice.

Our favorite flamboyant figure skater Weir is up first and serves his best Celine Dion when he performs her classic song from Titanic, “My Heart Will Go On.”

If Weir so lip syncing to Dion isn’t enough. During his number he holds a small replica of the bow of the Titanic ship—complete with mini fan—on his hand, while wearing a flowing dress—recreating Dion’s iconic music video for the song.

Do you think he does justice to the ’90s classic?

Weir’s skating soul sister Lipinski challenges his ode to Titanic with a lip sync to Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl.” It’s a close call between the two, but on Instagram Weir teased that his second performance is a Lady Gaga number so we are placing our bets on Weir’s over-the-top stage antics to take home the prize.

Who needs the winter Olympics?

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10/9c on Paramount Network.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
