Jonathan Groff Shakes Every Body Part For “Hair” 50th Anniversary

He got and gave life.

He’s got his guts, he’s got his muscles.

Jonathan Groff sure was feeling himself earlier this week during his balls-out performance at the Public Theater’s 50th anniversary benefit performance of Hair at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York.

By the end of his show-stopping, tit-groping number “I Got Life,” which celebrated his many-splendored body parts, the gay Mindhunter star was humping the rug, singing, “I got my ass!”

Groff, who starred in the Public’s 2008 Shakespeare in the Park production of the landmark 1967 rock musical, was joined by fellow tribe members from that company and the 2009 Broadway revival.
