Jonathan Groff To Star In New Netflix Series, “Mindhunter”

We're still waiting for that "Looking" movie, though.

Out actor Jonathan Groff, who can currently be seen in Hamilton on Broadway, has landed the lead role in the new Netflix series, Mindhunter, from director David Fincher.

Based on the true crime novel, Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker, the book follows Special Agent Douglas as he profiles some of the country’s most infamous serial killers including Charles Manson and Ted Bundy.

Netflix is currently being tight-lipped regarding any details about the production of the series, but Fincher is set to direct the pilot and serve as an executive producer with Charlize Theron.

It’s nice to know that Groff will still be on our TV screens even after the Looking movie finally airs on HBO later this year.
