Jose Canseco Will Live In Full Drag For A Week To "Understand" Caitlyn Jenner
Disgraced former MLB player Jose Canseco says he'll be living "as a woman" for a week to support Caitlyn Jenner, a cry for attention that will apparently double as a gag for his upcoming Internet reality show, Spend A Day with Jose.
The 51-year-old ex-Yankee, who admitted he played under the influence of performance-enhancing drugs after retiring in 2001, first told TMZ that he'd wear "full makeup, dresses, the works" while experiencing life "as a woman."
Since then, Canseco has continued misgendering Caitlyn in interviews with other outlets.
“In the very beginning, I didn’t understand it, so I was kind of like, against it,” Canseco told the New York Daily News of Jenner's transition. “Once I watched it more and more, and realized what it really entailed, what he was going through, I started supporting him.”
I wonder what I would look like as a woman. Move over Caitlyn

The entire situation is problematic, and probably best summed up by the Gawker commenter who wrote, "Nothing says 'I understand and care about transgender problems' like embodying one of the most damaging stereotypes transgender women face - a man in a dress."
Canseco has since declined to elaborate on the experiment further.
