Judy Garland’s Remains Being Moved Across Country To Hollywood

There's no place like home.

Judy Garland’s remains are being moved from her burial place in New York and being relocated to Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

People reports that her daughter, Liza Minelli, requested the remains be relocated because her original burial place didn’t have enough room for her children and grandchildren to eventually be buried with her.

Garland will join many other stars buried at Hollywood Forever, including Mel Blanc and Cecil B. Demille.

The icon, best known for her role in The Wizard of Oz, died at age 47 from an accidental barbiturate overdose in 1969.
