*NSync Stops By MTV Video Music Awards, Are Almost As Good As Britney Spears

Justin Timberlake brought more than his talent and charm and fedora to this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, as riding on his Tom Ford coattails joining him were four men whose calls he has been avoiding for the past ten years — Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Lance Bance and that other one Chris Kirkpatrick.

That’s right kids, Mr. Timberlake started accepting incoming calls again, and *NSync is back. Well, for one night only.

Lou Pearlman must be missed. And hungry.

The boys’ big reunion came at the biggest event of the years, the VMAs, and those kids have clearly been keeping their voices and personal training regiment up, as they turned it out on stage, delivering some of their greatest hits to an audience that included stars like Selelna Gomez and the boys of One Direction, who could be heard saying things like; “Who are they?” and “Should I reconsider me decision to skip college?”

And while we give props to the boys and their reunion and finally getting through to JT on, we must say, they were no Britney Spears, that iconic queen who has owned the stage at the VMAs since her stunning debut in 1999, when she performed with the *NSync boys and showed them what was up. And that’s not to mention that whole “Oops…I Did It Again” number in 2000. Or that snake taming bit she pulled out in 2001.

Anyhow, river crying aside, let’s watch some of the greatest moments in *NSync’s VMA history above. We know you’re watching too Joey Fatone.
