Justin Trudeau Showed Up At The House Of Commons Dressed Like Clark Kent

Is that a pocketful of kryptonite or are you just happy to see us?

Okay, it's no secret we crush hard on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. But he just locked it down today when he showed up for Question Peroid at the House of Commons dressed like Clark Kent.

As he got to the bottom of the stairs, he opened his shirt to expose the Superman costume hidden underneath, quipping in both official languages that it was a big shock to see the prime minister dressed as a journalist, but “you know, gotta do it.”

Trudeau apparently has a real love for Halloween: In 2015 he dressed like Han Solo and last year, he went as the pilot from The Little Prince, while his son Hadrien was the title character.

Oh lord, we're gonna need a moment.

Meanwhile MP Robert-Falcon Ouellette also got dressed up for the holiday, though in a slightly more macabre manner. The Toronto Star reports he wore a gore-splattered suit he described as “Bloody Harry."
