Kacey Musgraves Is a Disco Karaoke Queen in New “High Horse” Music Video

It's the "9 to 5" remake we never knew we needed.

Country queen Kacey Musgraves has released one of the best albums of the year, Golden Hour, and now the fan favorite track, "High Horse," finally has an official music video, and it is set in a disco wonderland we never want to leave.

The video features Kacey playing an unhappy office worker who is forced to deal with a prick boss named Dickerson. She fantasizes about lassoing him and the other annoying co-workers (anyone else getting major 9 to 5 vibes?) and not only that, but in the video Kacey also escapes to a club where she dances in a eleganza rainbow outfit and karaokes her heart out.

Some have speculated that "High Horse" is about Donald Trump, and Kacey fuels the fire in the video when she enters the karaoke bar and immediately shuts off a TV that has a Trump lookalike giving a speech.

The new video comes on the heels of two "High Horse" remixes released by Kacey, one that is a dance floor club filler, and another, the Violents remix, which has an amazing Palm Springs poolside chill vibe. Not only that, but during a recent trip to New York, the country queen danced to the song at Flaming Saddles, the gay country western bar in Hell's Kitchen, and during Pride Month she helped launch Stonewall Day, which helps support the Stonewall Inn's Gives Back Initiative.

Kacey has the gays in the palm of her hand, now she just has to get going on that Trixie Mattel collaboration...
