Kate McKinnon: "'Drag Race' Is My Whole Life"

"I don't know why it tickles me so much."

In the new movie Rough Night, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen makes a cameo as a club DJ, so when the topic of drag queens came up in a new interview with the cast they—especially Kate McKinnon—went off on how much they worship drag queens—especially Kate McKinnon.

"Drag Race is my whole life," the SNL star tells queen Paige Turner in a new video interview.

When Turner asks why she is so obsessed with drag culture McKinnon thinks that it has to do with drag's "roots in musical theater" and McKinnon herself is such a big fan of the stage.

"I don't know why it tickles me so much," she adds. "I don't know why it's become such an important touchstone in my life and my entire heart."

We haven't seen someone deliver such a passionate response since RuPaul asked the final four girls why they should be America's next drag superstar.

All we know is that Ru and Michelle better make some room at the judge's table because we would love to see McKinnon as a guest judge on Drag Race Season 10.

Don't you agree?

Long before McKinnon was starring in big summer comedies she was a cast member on Logo's Big Gay Sketch Show. Below, check out a video of her talking about how she landed the gig and see some of her best bits from her time on the series.

Rough Night hits theaters June 16 and RuPaul's Drag Race airs Fridays at 8/7c on VH1.
