Chi Magazine has gone ahead and published the bikini pictures of Kate Middleton and her royal baby bump and Prince William’s family is none too thrilled.
This is, of course, the same Italian magazine that got their hands on Kate’s topless snapshots so they really know how to make enemies with the royal family. The pictures were taken on a babymoon in Mustique and the mag said they were in a public location.
“We cannot talk about a violation of privacy when we publish pictures of public people in a public place. The photographs of Kate and William were bought from an international photo agency,” said editor-in-chief Alfonso Signorini. “You can’t compare this with the media persecution of Lady Diana. I cannot stress enough that the photos were taken in a public place, not private property.”
St. James’ Palace disagrees, “We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy.”
