Big news for Katy Perry fans as well as purchasers of fun party favors and office birthday gifts!:
MTV Geek reports that Bluewater has chosen Katy Perry’s journey “from Christian singer to pop superstar” as the subject of its next comic in the Fame series that includes Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga.
“Fame: Katy Perry” was written by Daily News columnist Howard Gensler and illustrated by Eduardo Bazen, and will be released in July to coincide with her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D.
The comic will be available for $7.99 on Amazon, with digital editions available for mobile devices, but c’mon, you want a real tangible 3D copy of this one to save and display forever!
No word so far if Katy’s romantic journeys will also be included in the comic, but we hope so! (But probably not?) Sigh. Russell Brand would make the BEST comic villain.
