Drag Queens And Club Kids “Swish Swish” With Katy Perry On “SNL”

"Drag Race" alum Vivacious led the legendary children in an homage to ballroom culture.

Swish, swish, bishes.

On last night’s season finale of Saturday Night Live, Katy Perry performed her latest single, "Swish Swish," alongside a sickening squad of New York drag queens and club kids.

Among those stomping the runway were nightlife notables Brenda Dharling, Bryant Dorean, Scarlet Envy, Brita Filter, Yuhua Hamasaki, Pattaya Hart, Jesse Havea, Kimberly Smallz LaBeija, Alotta McGriddles, Svetlana Stoli, Vita Summers, Jose Gutierez Xtravaganza, The Countess Mascara, and RuPaul's Drag Race alum Vivacious. The tribute to ballroom culture also featured spotlight-stealing moves by teen viral sensation Russell Got Barzz.

Perry's SNL performance comes just one night after RuPaul's Drag Race also paid homage to club kid couture.

Miley Cyrus similarly shared the stage with Drag Race queens at MTV's 2015 VMAs.

Fans have speculated that "Swish Swish" is a diss track against rival Taylor Swift, as has Swift's friend Ruby Rose. When asked about those rumors on The Tonight Show by host Jimmy Fallon, Perry said, "I think it's a great anthem for people whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you."

Perry was presented in March with Human Rights Campaign's National Equality Award at HRC's Los Angeles Gala Dinner. “I’ll never cease to be a champion, an ally, a spotlight, and a loving voice for all LGBTQ-identifying people," she told the crowd.

ABC announced earlier this week that Perry will be a new judge when American Idol returns this fall. Her new album, Witness, is out June 9, and her Witness arena tour kicks off September 7.
