So many stars complain about fame and the trappings of celebrity, but never actually do anything about it. Not Keira Knightley though.
In a new interview the actress laments her life following her role in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, with the constant attention and paparazzi, and says that is why she now sticks to smaller films. Makes a whole lot of sense.
“At the time of the Pirates movies I had a crazy time where very simple things were very difficult. I had about 20 guys standing on my doorstep, so going for groceries became incredibly difficult. I just didn’t go out. Since then, I’ve been doing different films and life has become easier. I can now walk through the lobby of a hotel,” the actress explains.
So next time any actor wants to complain we can now all reference Keira.
Oh, an it is still pretty awesome to be Keira, she can be seen next making out with Michael Fassbender in A Dangerous Method.
