Kelly Clarkson took to the American Idol stage for the last time this week and she brought the crowd to their feet and to tears.

Clarkson won the first season of American Idol way back in 2002, so this final performance during the last season was already extra special, but we didn't know the "Since U Been Gone" singer would leave us emotionally drained.

Clarkson performed her latest single "Piece by Piece" and during the song she fought back tears multiple times. It turns out crying can be contagious because Kelly's emotional performance also made judge Keith Urban and current Idol contestants cry. After she was finally able to get through the song, Clarkson told Ryan Seacrest: "I'm pregnant and nostalgic, I can't believe it's the last season."
