She’s been arted up. And charted up!
Kelly Clarkson is having a busy day! Her new single “My Life Would Suck Without You” just turbo-bolted to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles roster. The press release declares in all-caps:
SINGLE BREAKS THE EXISTING RECORD FOR BIGGEST ONE WEEK JUMP AND IS THE LARGEST LEAP IN THE CHART’S HISTORY
Yikes! It bested “Womanizer”‘s leap from #96 to #1, by jumping from #97 last week. (Oooh, she beat Brit by one notch!) “Suck” also bumped Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” from the top spot. And Clarkson’s new insta-hit is also #1 on the Digital Charts, too.
And tonight during American Idol, the video will debut during a commercial break. Nice nab, Fox!

Thanks to all this hooplah, her label moved the release of her album, All I Ever Wanted up to March 10th. It doesn’t suck to be KC right now.
