Michelle Obama's speech received thunderous applause at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center Monday night, but at least one social media troll didn't like what they heard.

Twitter user Joshua Gage (@CoffeBeansRock) announced "I'm not sure I liked the part where she said the Whitehouse [sic] was built by slaves."

To which the "Because of You" singer replied "Pretty certain the slaves that built it didn't like it either."

Is there a mic-drop emoji?

The burn was so real, Gage actually deleted his account after the exchange.

Um, Kelly, could you go after Donald Trump next?
