It’s New York City Fashion Week, and constellations formed at Trump Towers on Fifth Avenue as stars gathered for celebrity designer Sherri Hill’s Spring 2013 collection fashion show yesterday. Keeping Up with the Kardashians personalities Kendall and Kylie Jenner graced the runway modeling the spunky yet sophisticated prom and pageant style dresses that Hill crafted for the upcoming season. Sherri Hill, who styled such starlets as Carrie Underwood and Selena Gomez in the past, was very pleased to work with the budding models.
“They’re just fun girls,” said Hill. “They’re very professional, but yet they’re still teenagers, so y’know they giggle, they laugh, they try this, they try that. When the show finished Kylie’s over there like, ‘why don’t I just try one more dress on?’”
With rhinestone-encrusted gowns varying in different lengths and a plethora of colors that pop out to the naked eye, Hill most certainly has a knack for prom season fashion. The collection beautifully displayed a range of short yet flowing styles to long trains that would make any teen the princess of their ball.
“I enjoy it because the girls get excited about the clothes, so that’s always fun,” says Hill about designing the collection. “Every year we hope to get better.”
