In 2019, Kesha and her fans commandeered a cruise ship for a four-day journey from Florida to the Bahamas, which she lovingly named the Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride.

In addition to Animals, as her fans are called, Kesha also invited a bevy of special guests to perform on the ship, including Big Freedia, Betty Who, Wrabel, and Queer Eye’s Jonathan Van Ness, plus RuPaul's Drag Race squirrel friends Bob the Drag Queen, Thorgy Thor, and Detox.

The first Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride was so successful that she announced a second cruise which would set sail October 2020, but with the current coronavirus pandemic, Kesha's Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride 2 will disembark November 2021.

Kesha’s Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride 2 will now set sail from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas on November 3-7, 2021 with performances by Kesha, The Struts, K.Flay, Aly & AJ, Misterwives, Big Freedia, Wrabel, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Detox, Monét x Change, Roxxxy Andrews, Thorgy Thor, and more to be announced.

For guests who purchased rooms for the original 2020 sailing will either be able to transfer their reservation to the new festival dates or receive a full refund. As a thank you from Sixthman and Norwegian Cruise Line all transferred reservations and new reservations made before December 31st, 2020 will receive a complimentary ultimate beverage package.

So no need to beg the queens for drink tickets.

Last year, NewNowNext debuted a mini-documentary that brought viewers aboard the Rainbow Ride and recapped the entire four-day voyage.

“This cruise has been fucking life-changing. I’m so inspired by the whole experience,” Kesha said in the doc. “It has opened my eyes to what true love and freedom looks like. I am forever changed. Thank you so much for just having the time of your life.”
