NFL Darling Kordell Stewart Addresses Gay Rumors: "God Created Adam And Eve"

Last year Stewart also denied having a secret relationship with viral video star Andrew Caldwell.

Former NFL quarterback and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kordell Stewart addressed rumors about his sexuality in an interview on the Steve Harvey show yesterday, and invoked the Bible in denying that he is gay.

Rumors about Stewart's sexuality date back to 1998, when he was allegedly arrested in Pittsburg for performing "lewd acts" with a transgender person in a public park. Stewart vehemently denied the claim from the beginning, and there has never been evidence to validate it.

"First of all, when in the world have I gone to jail in Pittsburgh, because there's no record," Stewart asked. "I don't care if it's 10, 20, 30 years [ago]. If it happened, it would be documented, let alone, being with a transvestite."

"Trust me when I tell you, but the life I started and live with my family...the thing I understood about life, is when God created the heaven and earth, he created Adam and Eve. That's all I know. I don't know anything else."

Stewart went on to label the rumors a campaign of "hate" designed to defame him.

Stewart, who was married to RHOA star Porsha Williams from 2011-2013, also denied claims last year that he once dated viral Internet star Andrew "I'm not gay no more" Caldwell, after Caldwell claimed on a radio show that the two were in a "secret relationship," and that Stewart treated him with expensive gifts.

Meanwhile, we're all Steve Harvey:

Pressed on his relationship with Williams, Stewart said: "That's old and that's over with, Steve. You know, I have a 13-year-old kid to raise."
