Kylie Minogue Debuts New Disco Song at Intimate New York Concert

It's a BOP.

Kylie Minogue was the big headliner at this year's Pride Island festival in New York, and as a bonus the pop icon performed another, more intimate show the day after Pride, while she was still in the Big Apple.

On Monday night, at the Bowery Ballroom on Manhattan's Lower East Side, Minogue performed an intimate show for 600 fans who sang along to her classics like "All the Lovers," and new favorites like "Dancing" and "Lifetime to Repair"—but she had something special in store for the super fans in the audience: A brand new song she had never performed live before.

"This particular one didn't fit the framework of the album [Golden], but since we're here in New York City," she told the audience, "I thought I would do something I have never done before... This is just for you guys tonight, I think you will be able to sing along faster than you realize."

The setting was fitting for the song—titled "New York City"—and she was correct in knowing that the crowd would pick up the lyrics quickly.

Minogue had sang some of the song when she was interviewed on the Build Series back in April, but this was the first complete performance of the unreleased track.

Check out a video of the performance from the Bowery Ballroom show below, and hopefully the song will get an official release someday soon.
