Vlogger Stephen LC has been asked by a woman to be her "gay best friend" more times than he can count.

In a vlog uploaded Sunday, he details the reasons why he doesn't ever want to be a token gay best friend and, more importantly, why girls should stop wanting these and having the audacity to ask for them.

He says: "I feel like most girls who say they want a gay best friend really just want a Chihuahua, or maybe they just want a fun, flashy purse? Or maybe if you take it further back, they want validation from their father. Who doesn't want that?"

You may need these things, ladies, but Stephen has a news flash for you: "You're not going to get any of those things [by] asking a human being to be your prop."
