A star is about to be born—and that star is you.
During Jimmy Kimmel’s fourth annual (RED) Benefit Show on Monday (November 19), U2’s Bono announced that he and Lady Gaga will be writing a song for a donor who gives to the charity’s fight against HIV/AIDS.
“There’s a sense of a lack of momentum,” says Bono on the state of the fight against AIDS. “Politics are at play, there’s a bit of complacency. I’ll tell you who’s not complacent—women are not complacent. That’s probably because HIV is the biggest killer of women in the world.”
So, Bono is teaming up with one of the hottest women in music to write a song for you if you give at least $10 to the cause as well as encourage your friends to donate to (RED)’s Crowdrise page.
According to (RED)’s website, the two musicians will “find out everything there is to know about you” and then write you your very own medley. Plus they’ll send you an autographed copy of the lyrics.
