Born This Gays, this one’s for you.
On Friday (May 28), Lady Gaga unveiled her latest project: a 10-year anniversary edition of her iconic album Born This Way. The new record will feature the original tracklist along with reimagined versions of six songs — “Marry the Night,” “Judas,” “Highway Unicorn (Road to Love),” “Yoü and I,” “The Edge of Glory,” and “Born This Way (The Country Road Version)” — from “incredible artists who represent and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.” Most of the collaborators are TBA, but we’re sure the Chromatica queen is on the right track.
As if that weren’t enough, Gaga also debuted the first Born This Way Reimagined cut, a remix of “Judas” by none other than NOLA bounce legend Big Freedia. Reader, it does not disappoint.
In a statement, Big Freedia said “Judas” has always been her favorite cut from Born This Way. “I am beyond excited that it’s the first to drop from this project!” she added. “To me, ’Judas’ is a love song about when someone does you dirty. I’ve sure had my experience with that. Who can’t relate?”
In addition to the album’s 14 original songs, #TheTenthAnniversary edition will also include a second disc of reimagined versions of #BornThisWay songs by incredible artists who both represent and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. ✝ pic.twitter.com/iJreSJHZI0

The forthcoming album is hardly Gaga’s first celebration of Born This Way’s double-digits anniversary. On May 23, 2021, officials in West Hollywood established Born This Way Day in Gaga’s honor and handed her the keys to the city.
Mark your calendars, Little Monsters: Born This Way Reimagined: The Tenth Anniversary is out June 18.
