Lady Gaga Debuts New Single, "The Cure," At Coachella

"And if you say you’re okay, I’m going to heal you anyway."

Just when you think it might be safe to ignore Coachella, headliner Lady Gaga goes and drops a new single.

About halfway through her 18-song set last night at the annual California music and arts festival, Gaga surprised fans by premiering a new song, US Weekly reports.

"I've been so excited for this next part of the show because I've been trying to keep it a secret for so long," she told the crowd. "I've been in the studio and I'd like to debut a brand new song, 'The Cure.'"

“I love you guys so much,” she continued, according to Attitude. “I have been through so much in my life and I’ve seen so much and you cure me every time with your love.”

At the end of the show, the recent RuPaul's Drag Race guest judge announced that "The Cure" was actually her new single and that it was available on iTunes.

"If I can’t find the cure, I’ll fix you with my love," she sings on the track. "And if you say you’re okay, I’m going to heal you anyway."

Gaga, who will embark on a world tour later this year in support of her album Joanne, replaced Beyoncé as a Coachella headliner in February after Bey announced her pregnancy. She's the festival's first female headliner since Bjork in 2007.
