There is no rest for the weary. Lady Gaga seems to be taking a page out of the book of fellow pop star Rihanna and is planning to release a new album in 2012, this despite the fact that she released Born This Way in mid-2011 and just came off a massive tour. Take some time of G.

The singer said of her 2012 goals: “I just want to keep going. I’m not as goal-obsessed as I am process-obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I’m looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour.”

Given that the follow up to her debut smash The Fame Monster is not performing as well as its predecessor, "Marry the Night" will be her first single to not hit the top ten, maybe a break is in order. Or, perhaps, that will motivate Gaga to come out with an even more amazing, and possibly out there, album.

Either way, the world awaits to see just what this artist has planned next. And who, perhaps, she may liberally "borrow" from in the process.
