Gay Twitter™ Reacts to Lady Gaga's New Leaked Song

*screams in "Stupid Love"*

That high-pitched screech you heard last night? Yeah, that was Gay Twitter™ reacting to Lady Gaga's latest bop invading the internet.

On Tuesday afternoon, Little Monsters everywhere promptly lost their minds when the leaked audio of "Stupid Love"—what seems to be Gaga's yet-to-be-released single—began to circulate.

Rest assured, the track is a catchy, '80s-inspired bop that showcases Gaga's powerhouse vocals—and marks a stylistic departure from 2016's Joanne, her more downtempo, country-inflected 2016 album. Out of respect for Mother Monster, we won't link to the file, but it's easy to find with a little digging.

Reactions to the leak run the gamut, with some folks pointing out that today's queer community might have some misplaced priorities:

Since splashing onto the pop music scene with her 2008 hit "Just Dance," the bisexual singer-songwriter has dropped five studio albums, released (almost) too many singles to count, and flexed her acting chops with her Oscar-nominated performance in the 2019 remake of A Star Is Born.

She somehow also carved out time to develop and launch her own makeup line, Haus Laboratories, last year.

Did you get your grubby little paws on "Stupid Love" yet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. We're just happy to have something to tide us over until Gaga's upcoming sixth album arrives.
