Can I make a confession? Okay, cool. I don’t want to be mobbed by a field of my angry fellow homosexuals, but I have to let it be known that I AM NOT A LADY GAGA FAN. I know, it’s shameful. I have to live with it everyday, and it is draining. Needless to say I was in shock when I watched the video for her and Tony Bennett’s version of “The Lady Is A Tramp” and absolutely loved it.
The legendary crooner teamed up with Gaga and a slew of other stars for his album Tony Bennett: Duets II. While I have not listened to the others save the song with the late Amy Winehouse, I must put my tail in between my legs and admit that this is awesome.
Gaga wears a green wig in the video, and her voice is dead-on, making me believe she has some theatrical chops. Of course, she did also spend an entire evening parading around as what appeared to be a Windy City repairman at the Video Music Awards, so her acting abilities shouldn’t be that shocking.
Take a look at the video below and see what may potentially convert me into a Little Monster (KIDDING…but still).
