Lana Del Rey Is Finally Ready To Debut "Tropico", New Trailer: WATCH

It feels like Lana Del Rey has been promoting her mini film project Tropico forever. The "Born To Die" songstress has finally set a date, though: The film will launch on VEVO and various apps on December 5.

Tropico is said to be a epic tale based on the story of the biblical Fall from Grace with Del Rey starring as Eve. It's the first installment of a trilogy, that goes from the Garden of Eden all the way up to modern-day Los Angeles.

Playing Adam is Shaun Ross, who's modeled for Alexander McQueen and appeared in videos for Katy Perry's "E.T." and Beyonce's "Party."

Tropico sticks to the themes of Born to Die and Born To Die: The Paradise Edition—loss of innocence, good vs. evil, and trading beauty for money. It'll mark the end of Del Ray's Born To Die era, actually, and feature the songs "Body Electric," "Gods and Monsters" and "Bel Air."
