Lance Bass came out to his 'N Sync band mates before going public about his sexuality. But now the singer reveals he inadvertently came out to pal Joey Fatone first—when Fatone accidentally walked in on him with another guy.

"Joey walked in on me with the guy I was dating just kind of sitting on my lap. Straight guys don't do that," Bass joked on Access Hollywood. Hmm, we have to wonder who Lance was playing Santa with—could it have been ex Reichen Lehmkuhl?

Within a few months, Bass told Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez, and admits "I don't think anyone was surprised."

Bass is currently engaged to boyfriend Michael Turchin and is busy with wedding plans. "They're coming slowly, but we figure it's going to be at the end of the year, or maybe early next year," he told Us Weekly. "We might push it a couple more months. Again. It's been a busy year, so we haven't been able to plan a thing yet."
