Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin revealed they're thinking about expanding their family "very soon" in a red carpet interview with ET on Friday.

"We plan on doing the baby thing ourselves sometime soon," the 37-year-old former astronaut said, adding that he'd only trust one of his 'N Sync bandmates with babysitting duty— his good friend JC Chasez.

"He's ironically the one that doesn't have the kid!" Bass joked.

Bass and Turchin were attending a benefit for the onePULSE Foundation, an organization set up to financially assist the victims of the June 12 massacre at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Other esteemed guests in attendance included Pulse owner Barbara Poma, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, Caitlyn Jenner, Matt Bomer, will.i.am, and Jessie J and Stevie Wonder, who were both on hand for surprise perforamnces.

"It's great that I can lend my voice to something like this," sais Bass. "Living in Orlando for several years I feel very a part of that community. It's where I came out as gay myself. It's just very special to me to be able to give back in any way."

"During tragedies like this entertainment does come together and put out the word. Really helps raise a lot of money for tragedies like this."
