"Game of Thrones" Actress Confronts Transphobe While Shopping at Zara

Bend the knee!

Actress Laura Pradelska took to Twitter to rehash an altercation with a vocal transphobe while waiting in line at a Zara in London.

The German-born actress, who played the elusive Quaithe in Season 2 of HBO's hit series Game of Thrones, claims she "witnessed the worst behaviour" at a Zara store on Oxford Street.

"Women jumped the queue, a kind lady behind me politely asked them not to, at which point they started shouting the worst abuse at her," Pradelska tweeted. "I told them to calm down, they then verbally attacked me with vile racial abuse, whilst one of the women continued to scream in my face that I’m a transgender whore—completely insignificant wether [sic] I am trans or not but I’d hope @Zara would never tolerate this behaviour."

Pradelska (pictured above) is not transgender; however, to her point, being trans is not an insult and definitely shouldn't be used as such.

The addition of an anti-sex worker slur is especially egregious, too, since trans women are often forced into survival sex work and disproportionately affected by anti-sex work legislation.

"The women should’ve been kicked out!" the actress added, with resounding support from her followers on Twitter.

In the wake of the backlash, Zara's official Twitter account replied to Pradelska's thread with a link to a form where she could report the incident.

"We are sorry to hear this," the fast fashion company wrote.
