Lauren Conrad Destroys Books, Is An Idiot: Video
Lauren Conrad seems like a very, very nice girl, and she sure does have shiny hair, but the girl is kind of an idiot. We are not trying to be mean, and we are sure you will feel the same way after watching the above video.
Miss Conard hosts a Crafty Creations segment where she creates fun little knick-knacks for around the home, using basic objects and lots of glue. Crappy kitsch if you will.
This week, Conrad made a Bookshelf Box. She did this by destroying books and keeping the bindings to glue on a box for "storage." We are not sure where to even begin with the problems we have with this segment.
First, if you are a guest of Lauren's and go to look at one of the books on her "bookshelf," you are in for a sad surprise. Second, glue guns are dangerous. And lastly, there are millions of children, seriously millions, who could use a few free books. So an even craftier, and responsible, thing to do with old books, is donate them. Here are some places you can donate.
Just be sure not to donate Hard Candy. Kids do not need to be reading that crap.
