Gang Of 15 Men Attack Lesbians, Punch Out Teeth

Five women were brutally assaulted on Easter Sunday.

A group of gay women leaving a bar in Portsmouth, England, last weekend was attacked by more than a dozen men by more than a dozen men in a horrific hate crime. The victims had just left karaoke night at the Blue Anchor Pub before midnight, when the assailants descended upon them, punching and kicking them while shouting anti-LGBT epithets.

According to the Portsmouth News, The victims, who were all between the ages of 23 and 32, have asked to remain anonymous, but detailed their injuries in the newspaper. One woman lost seven teeth and suffered a fractured jaw.

"The men had got off the girls but they were still hitting the older woman, I’d say at least 20 or 30 times," said a witness. "I was begging them to stop. It wasn’t until they heard the sirens that they threw her and ran off. They dropped her like she was nothing and ran back into the club. I turned around and one was stamping on a woman’s head... It was horrendous, I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve had nightmares."

One victim said that, at one point, there were at least seven men punching her. "I just remember trying to protect myself. They were trying to get me on the floor. ... There was blood everywhere."

So far, four male suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident—three on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and another on suspicion of disturbing the peace. Authorities confirmed they are "investigating an altercation between two groups" but did not comment on whether it's being considered a hate crime.
