This Amazing Pride Dress Was Made Entirely Of Leslie Jones Tweets

"she gay dude stop it lol"

The New York City Pride March was Sunday and one participant rolled up wearing a unique rainbow dress that celebrated not only the LGBT community, but also SNL stars Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon.

The dress—designed, sewn and worn by Kayla Guminiak—featured a 2016 tweet by Jones that reads, simply, "she gay dude stop it lol."

Jones tweeted that message last summer, allegedly in response to a guy who kept hitting on McKinnon—Jones' friend, fellow cast mate and Ghostbusters co-star. And one of the most famous lesbians in Hollywood.

The thread that inspired her tweet has since been deleted, but Jones' perfectly concise response quickly became a meme—people turned it into fan art, gotten it printed on mugs, and even photoshopped it over the Hollywood sign.

“I just love it so much because I think it’s very, very relatable,” Guminiak, 27, told the Daily Dot. “As a feminine gay woman, I get hit on by a lot of creeps, even if I’m literally holding my girlfriend’s hand. So, it speaks to me a lot.”

Unsurprisingly, the Internet lost its mind over the dress, and Guminiak is now being overwhelmed with requests for custom-made tweet dresses.

All the attention also prompted Guminiak to tweet this morning, "I guess I'm probably gonna have to come out to my dad now lmao," which, TBH, would also make a pretty iconic dress itself.
