Let's Cast "The Bold And The Beautiful" Bisexual Character
Of all of the soap operas still gasping for life on American daytime, CBS' The Bold And The Beautiful has been the least inclusive, which is all the more shocking considering it's set in the fashion world.
But the show has taken major strides lately toward showing a world that isn't entirely comprised of heteronormativity and cisgender people.
The show made history this week as character Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) became the first transgender bride to be married on daytime TV, walking down the aisle with Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) from the show's core family.
But The Bold And The Beautiful isn't stopping there, as they have sent out a casting call for a new character. Daytime Confidential reports:
"The daytime drama is looking for a white male between the ages of 25-28 to play the role of "Christian". The character, who works in fashion, is described as being sophisticated, professional, having a great sense of style and possibly a comic side to him. Oh, he's also gorgeous and bi!"
This is welcome news, and while it's too early to speculate how large the role will be, we can certainly do some dream casting! Here are a couple of choices that would be ideal, and they're from the soap world, so they can hit the ground running.
Brant Daugherty

Scott has the right amount of hotness and goofiness to make this character shine.
