LGBT Homeless Youth Need Your Help! Join Alan Cumming, Sandra Bernhard and More to Pitch In!

Youth rally at City Hall in NYC last week to protest budget cuts allocated for helping homeless youth.

Happy in-between holidays, y'all!

As NYC and the entire Northeast digs out from the blizzard, imagine how heinous it would be to be a homeless queer teen struggling to survive on the city streets amid the snowdrifts, freezing temps, crime and desperation. So, in the spirit of the season (ya know... "Help people! Good will to men, women and trans folks of all ages!") here's just a little reminder to give back and help organizations like the Ali Forney Center, which provides housing and life-saving services to homeless LGBT youth, getting them off the streets of NYC and helping them put their lives back together.

Gay youth are coming out more and more these days, and while this is progress and powerful, it also means that many queer kids are rejected and kicked out by their families more than ever. Watch Ali Forney Center supporters like Alan Cumming, Sandra Bernhard, Austin Scarlett, Lt. Dan Choi, Justin Bond, blogger Joe Jervis (from JoeMyGod.com) and others talk about the importance of pitching in...

Visit the Ali Forney Center on Facebook or at AliForneyCenter.org to find out more about how to help or donate. You can help give a homeless gay youth a fresh start for a new year!
