Life Ball 2018 Welcomes Gus Kenworthy, Patti LaBelle, Conchita Wurst, and More
This weekend's Life Ball in Vienna, Austria, attracted celebrities and performers galore.
Founded in 1992, Life Ball is Europe's largest annual AIDS fundraiser, promoting acceptance and awareness for those living with HIV/AIDS. It's also one of the calendar year's most fabulous affairs: Each year, attendees sport glamorous and borderline outrageous getups, all in the name of a good cause.
This year's theme was an homage to The Sound of Music.
Attendees on this year's list included out Olympian Gus Kenworthy, iconic singer Patti LaBelle, and gender-nonconforming Eurovision alum Conchita Wurst. (Notably, Wurst opened up publicly about being HIV-positive in April, when a blackmail threat from an ex prompted the 29-year-old to go public about her status.)
