Bi YouTuber Lilly Singh Is Getting Her Own NBC Late-Night Show

Singh, who came out this February, says the gig is "a dream come true."

Out YouTuber and TV personality Lilly Singh is making history over at NBC: She’s slated to become the network’s first bisexual talk show host with her upcoming late-night series, A Little Late with Lilly Singh.

Singh, who announced the news on last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, says she’s “so excited” to build the show from scratch and plans to prioritize being inclusive. She’ll be nabbing the 1:35am late-night slot from Carson Daly, whose long-running show Last Call with Carson Daly is ending later this year.

“I’m so honored and humbled,” she shared. “It’ll be kind of like my YouTube channel, but now I have more than three staff members.”

So far, #20BiTeen has been a big year for Singh. Her YouTube channel, IISuperwomanII, currently has more than 14 million subscribers, and she came out as bisexual in a tweet posted this February.

A Little Late will make Singh, 30, the first woman, person of color, and openly bi person to host a late-night show on a major television network.

“An Indian-Canadian woman with her own late night show?” she told Fallon. “Now that is a dream come true.”
